Iran fully committed to JCPOA obligations

TEHRAN, Apr. 23 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif underlined Friday that Iran has fully met its JCPOA obligations.

“According to John Kerry’s remarks, the Islamic Republic of Iran will soon benefit all achievements of JCPOA,” Zarif said Friday night, before his meeting with the US Secretary of State John Kerry in New York.

Addressing reporters at the Palace Hotel, Zarif said JCPOA is a balanced agreement based on which we must get assurances that sanctions and pressure are not the solutions to the international disputes, but negotiations.

Zarif pointed out that differences with the US still remain on a number of issues, expressing hope that John Kerry's remarks would help address bank’s concerns over the US approach.

“We did our best to prove Iran and 5+1 could solve serious problems through negotiations and take appropriate steps so that the Iranians can feel changes after the implementation of JCPOA,” he said.

Iranian FM noted Iran will continue its commitments to the historic accord, only when the people of Iran are able to feel the changes after the implementation of JCPOA.
